I’m so excited to begin my internship at Triquetra Counseling! It’s truly inspiring to be part of such a caring team of therapists who are passionate about supporting the Charlotte community.
In my work with clients, my approach combines Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe that self-discovery, personal growth, and building trust are at the heart of the counseling process. I’m passionate about walking alongside people as they navigate life’s challenges, uncover their strengths, and build confidence, self-worth, and compassion for themselves and others.
I am especially passionate about working with adolescents who are navigating self-image and self-worth in today’s world, individuals who may be struggling with body image, and individuals who are healing from trauma. My goal is to help clients build confidence, reclaim their self-worth, and develop a stronger sense of compassion for themselves as they move toward healing and growth. My hope is to connect and support groups that provide resources for those who cannot access resources for mental health.
I’m originally from North Carolina and have called Charlotte home for the past three years. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from Appalachian State University, and I’m currently earning my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through the University of West Alabama via online.
